The house is situated on an enclosed, level property with surrounding meadows, flower gardens, and evergreen trees. Aero’s Getaway is also a child and dog-friendly accommodation. The location is easily accessible and only 2 miles south of the Town of Vashon, just around the corner from Old Town and a few minutes from great beaches, parks and trails. Only a 15-minute ferry ride from either Seattle or Tacoma, Vashon Island is a peaceful, rural excursion from the hustle & bustle of city life. Enjoy the beautiful parks, beaches, trails and open spaces. There are numerous recreational activities (biking, kayaking, hiking, bird watching, horseback riding, etc). Although a small, quiet place, Vashon Island is home to a vibrant arts and farming community with too many local community events to mention (farmers market, Artswalk, festivals, theatre, local music).
